Department: Weavers’ Service Centres and Indian Institutes of Handloom Technology, Office of the Development Commissioner for Handlooms, Ministry of Textiles
Pay Scale: Rs. 15,600-39,100 (PB-3) + Rs. 5,400 (Grade Pay) (T.E. Rs. 43,470/-Approx.) + TA and HRA as admissible
Age Limit: 35 yrs.
Educational Qualification: (i) Degree in Textile Technology or Textile Engineering of a recognized University or Institute; (ii) Three years’ practical experience as a Lecturer in a textile weaving Institute or as a Shift-in-charge/Instructor in a textile production establishment or Corporation or Institute out of which at least one year should be in handlooms. OR (i) Three years’ Diploma in Handloom Technology or Three years’ Diploma in Handloom and Textile Technology from a recognized University or Institute. ((ii) Five years’ practical experience as a Lecturer in a textile weaving Institute or as a Shift-in-charge/Instructor in a textile production establishment or Corporation or Institute out of which at least one year should have been in handlooms
