from DKTE’S Textile & Engineering Institute. I also, completed an Advanced
Diploma in Business Administration (DBA), Post Graduate Diploma in Operational
Management from Welingkar Institute of Management, Mumbai. Additionally, hold a
fellowship from Textile Institute Manchester UK & also Chartered Engineer
from the Institute of Engineers.
Having More than 15 years of professional
experience in Technical Textiles R&D, Project Management, Technical
Consultancy, Prototype/Product/Process Development & Improvement, Testing
of Technical Textiles & Nonwovens, Technical Training, etc. Worked as a
Project Investigator on various Research and Development projects, sponsored by
various funding agencies like the Ministry of Textiles (MOT), DRDO, Department
of Science & Technology (DST), Central Wool Development Board (CWDB) etc.
Currently working as Head Technical Textile
Business Development at Archroma India Pvt. Ltd, Mumbai. Previously worked as R&D
head at Garware Technical Fibres Ltd.Pune, R&D head, Welspun Advanced
Textiles, Anjar. Worked as Scientist & Technical Director in DKTE Centre of
Excellence in Nonwovens, Ichalkaranji worked as a Scientist in Wool Research
Association, Thane (Centre of Excellence for Sportech) &Quality Assurance
Officer (EPQA) at Textile Committee, Mumbai. Also, having more than 40 research
publications in national & international journals with 6 patents.
